The importance of self-management education programs for patients to reduce risk factors and improve clinical parameters is discussed. The speaker will provide an overview of international guidelines for the management of CKD in patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D) and practical advice for the treatment with finerenone, including contraindications, precautions, and recommendations.
