In this educational webcast Denise Link, a nurse practitioner specialized in diabetes from the United States, explores strategies to address hyperkalemia in chronic kidney disease (CKD) and type 2 diabetes (T2D). A case study of a patient with CKD and T2D suffering from hyperkalemia is described, as well as the methodology used during treatment to improve the patient’s clinical parameters and condition.
